StatChecker NBA 26/27 launch
A player hit rate is a starting point. See which games count, compare the context and test your assumptions before deciding what deserves your attention.
The preview is a checked historical example. No signup required. NBA 26/27 membership is a separate paid preorder.
Evaluate the approach
Start with the player, stat and line you want to understand. A useful tool makes the evidence behind that question easy to inspect. Explore these three views in the free preview.
See recorded results against a line, the number of hits and the settled-game count. Compare the full retained sample with season, designated-home and rest-day categories.
Inspect the historical gamesSelect one condition per factor and compare the scoring average with a separate baseline. Contributing and comparison game counts show the history supporting each difference.
Compare the contextChange a category’s research weight and inspect its contribution to the weighted historical hit rate. Categories can overlap, so contributions can exceed the number of unique games.
Try the research weightsA result you can check
For Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to score 30+ points, the answer changes with the games you count. These figures use the same checked historical records as the preview, ending April 8, 2026.
| Sample | Hits / games | Hit rate |
|---|---|---|
| Latest 5 retained games | 1 / 5 | 20.0% |
| Latest 10 retained games | 5 / 10 | 50.0% |
| Full checked sample | 92 / 142 | 64.8% |
The five- and ten-game windows are subsets of the full sample. Retained records are not complete season coverage. No missing appearance is counted as zero.
The latest five games describe a short stretch. The broader sample includes more history and more situations. Neither percentage alone tells you whether the next bet is well priced.
Check the player’s role, minutes and game setting before treating a recent run as representative. A larger sample does not become predictive confidence.
Open the underlying game chartThe preview’s designated-home comparison uses 76 contributing games and 66 comparison games. Uplift uses all checked history independently of Base filters and weights. Each factor is a separate comparison, with the baseline matched to the selected group’s season mix. Its differences describe historical associations and are not added together into a prediction.
Read the data source, checks and methodResearch beyond one selection
For a same-game parlay, ask which historical games all the selections have in common. Two individual hit rates can come from different games, and selections in the same matchup can be related. Multiplying their percentages assumes independence that you have not established.
A useful research check shows the shared-game count, how often all selections met their lines in those games, and the context around that sample. That observed rate still needs to be kept separate from a forecast and the sportsbook’s price.
Single-bet and same-game parlay research is planned for NBA 26/27 membership. The public preview currently demonstrates one player’s points sample; it does not include a working NBA parlay builder.

Danny Page founded StatChecker and has built NBA research tools before. This season’s launch brings the research approach into focus through a public, inspectable example.
The free preview includes Base, Uplift and adjustable research weights. It has no live odds, confirmed pregame injury feed or calibrated next-game probabilities. Unverified travel, positional opponent and referee context stays explicitly unavailable.

Before you choose
Yes. The historical preview is free and requires no signup. You can inspect the sample, change the Uplift conditions and adjust research weights. Full NBA 26/27 access is separate from this bounded example.
No. It means 92 of 142 settled appearances in this retained sample met the selected line. It does not account for everything that may change next game, and it is not a calibrated probability. Weighted historical rates and contextual averages have the same limitation.
Check whether you can inspect the underlying games, identify missing records and understand every sample count. Then check current availability, supported stats, data freshness and the full subscription terms. Use the demonstration to judge whether the workflow answers your own research questions.
The public preview is a fixed historical example. It does not establish tonight’s player availability, odds or an upcoming game’s conditions. The NBA 26/27 membership page explains the planned release and current preorder offer.
